Arts Council England has announced a new set of National Portfolio Organisations, awarding Salisbury Playhouse £1,277,944 each year over four years. Turf-cutting took place in June to signal the beginning of a full restoration programme of the First World War hillside badge of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment. The badge is to be found above the village of Sutton Mandeville in the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, although currently its outline is indistinct.
