From the editor

Good news! We have extended this issue to bring you even more features from some of the best schools in the region. Choosing a school for your child is a hugely emotive task, and making sure you make the right choice will come down to many factors; perhaps you went to a particular school and you want your children to experience it as well? Or perhaps the school’s reputation or specialism is something that you think will benefit your child? Maybe you are looking into boarding options. Perhaps it is academic success, sporting achievement, or character building that appeals, maybe a religious element, single-sex or co-educational? One thing that stands out when reading these features is that the schools of our region are determined not to stand still and rest on their laurels; there is a constant determination to improve, to challenge, to question, to adapt, and all for the benefit of the children they educate and care for. This is what we want for our children and it is heartening to know that our region’s schools are certainly continuing to grow in strength.
