Welcome to the 2021 edition of Wiltshire Life. It is time to look forward with the prospect of a vaccine to immunise against the Covid-19 virus, bringing the opportunity to see family and friends once again. In the January issue we look at the towns across the county that are well worth re-discovering, with plenty of independent shops and interesting places to visit. So, as the new year begins, why not take those first steps out and about to reconnect with all the wonderful things we have here in the county and support our local producers and businesses at the same time.
On November 11th Anna Baines from Salisbury Wiltshire released "It’s Easy" in aid of SSAFA the Armed Forces charity.

Between 2020-2022, they will be raising money for Just A Drop (providing clean water to countries where disease is still rife) and Jamie’s Farm (which provides a residential experience for vulnerable youngsters aged between 10 and 16). Despite many fundraising activities being cancelled this year, their Annual Cryptic Quiz is now available.
The Wiltshire Community Foundation is launching a £90,000 appeal to help keep hundreds of elderly people warm and save lives this winter.
Volunteers will once again be doing essential shopping and collecting prescriptions for people most at risk in Salisbury during the second lockdown.
