The Winsley Village Project has a unique place in that village’s life and has for the last 35 years. Between 2020-2022, they will be raising money for Just A Drop (providing clean water to countries where disease is still rife) and Jamie’s Farm (which provides a residential experience for vulnerable youngsters aged between 10 and 16). Despite many fundraising activities being cancelled this year, their Annual Cryptic Quiz is now available.
The Annual Cryptic Quiz this year has 100 clues concerning Wiltshire Towns and Villages. The closing date is 28th February, giving you plenty of time to sit and solve. There are four prizes of £25, £15, £10 and £5 and just for this year. As the Project has not been able to put on so many events, the suggested donation is £5 per quiz sheet.
If you are interested in obtaining a copy of the quiz:
- The easiest way is to transfer £5 via online banking to Sort Code 30-98-75 and the account reference 32607768 using the reference Quiz. Then email John Baxter on jbmab40@btinternet.com to say that you have paid for the quiz and he will send you it as a Word document by return. If you want a hard copy sent please let him know.
- If you do not have an online bank account, send a £5 cheque made payable to Winsley Project to 12 Deverell Close, Bradford-on-Avon BA15 1UY and he will send a paper copy in the post.
