On the 800th anniversary of the laying of its foundations Salisbury Cathedral launched an interactive virtual tour of Celebrating 800 years of Spirit and Endeavour, its largest contemporary art exhibition for nearly two decades.

Using scans completed before the Cathedral had to close, this fascinating tour allows you to explore an incredible collection of art in an iconic setting from the comfort of your home.

Discover work by important and influential contemporary artists from the 20th and 21st centuries including Antony Gormley, Shirazeh Houshiary, Henry Moore, Grayson Perry, Conrad Shawcross, Stanza and Mark Wallinger as well as new commissions by Bruce Munro and Daniel Chadwick plus art in the Cathedral’s permanent collection.
