Complete 40 miles between the 1st and 31st August, explore the great outdoors, get fit, and take time to remember treasured moment of a lost loved one whilst raising money for Salisbury Hospice.

Like for so many, this past year has been very challenging, but 2021 marks a very special year for Salisbury Hospice as it celebrate 40 years of providing outstanding end of life care to its patients. In their hours of need, Salisbury Hospice has cared for up to 1000 patients and their families every year for the past 40 years that is an enormous 40,000 families in total.

As Salisbury Hospice celebrates this very special birthday, they are asking supporters to get moving this August and complete 40 Miles during the month. That’s 1 mile for every 1 thousand patients supported each year. Do it in memory of a loved one, to show your support for this invaluable end of life service, or simply for the challenge of it - it is entirely up to you and we are with you every step of the way.

If you are doing it in memory of a loved one, please feel free to dedicate a treasured memory of your loved one on Salisbury Hospice’s memory website. http://memories.salisburyhospicecharity.org.uk/

The challenge is straightforward: Complete 40 miles. Walk, jog, run, choose your own routes, do it at your own pace and in your own time over a 31-day period. Registration is free, and there is no fundraising target.

Sign up by joining the Facebook group or head over to www.salisburyhospicecharity.org.uk to register for a T-shirt and Fundraising pack.
