Yoga on the lawn

Relax in the stunning setting of Avebury Manor garden as you take part in a rejuvenating outdoor yoga session with a local instructor. Yoga will help you discover how coordinating the breath, mind and body helps bring balance, not only in class but in your daily life too. The session encourages feelings of relaxation and ease to help you deal with stress, anxiety or sleep disorders as well as improving general fitness and wellbeing. Everyone can feel the benefits and all levels are welcome.

Landscape walk of Waden Hill

Sat 11 Jun. 1.30pm – 4pm

The Waden Hill circuit takes in some of the Neolithic monuments which make up this ancient and intriguing landscape. The volunteer guide will help you to unlock their past by explaining the history of the landscape as you walk. Begin at Avebury and walk along the Winterbourne towards Silbury Hill, up Waden Hill and back via the West Kennet Avenue.

Tile block pattern printing on linen

Wed 15 Jun. 10am – 4.30pm

An introduction to block print pattern where participants will carve their own tile block and print onto fabric. A one day workshop where participants will design and create their own tile block, learning how to print through ink onto linen. Inspiration will be taken from Avebury Manor garden and Georgian blooms.

Watercolour workshop

Wed 13 Jul. 10.45am – 4pm

This relaxed watercolour workshop is based in the Avebury Manor library and garden. It is led by artist Susan Neale who will guide you through the day.

Janus Rising: exhibition by Sal Taylor Kydd

A beautiful new photographic exhibition opens at Lacock Abbey: an exploration of time passing, the interplay between fragility and strength and the resilience of self. Sal Taylor Kydd's work draws strongly on landscape, home and family. Discover images that, like the two-faced Roman god Janus, look back to the past but also forward to the future.

Outdoor theatre: Twelfth Night
