It's bluebell time, there's the scent of warmer weather on the breeze - and the bumper May issue of Wiltshire Life is out.
Inside, we bring you news of our incredible Wiltshire Life Awards 2017 winners, from carers and business people to artists and community groups. These are the heroes who make Wiltshire great and it is our pleasure to celebrate them. May is also the time to get out and about, so we have news of quirky cultural events, plus guides to Devizes, Clyffe Pypard and Bushton.
There's a profile of our new high sheriff - a probation officer, while My Wiltshire features the chairman of Natural England, Andrew Sells.
Elsewhere, we forage for Sunday lunch veg, examine mounting opposition to the A303 Stonehenge tunnel and follow the visits of HM The Queen and HRH The Prince of Wales to The Royal Welsh, the Great Bustard Group and Wadworth. A new series starts too: a literary tour of the county, from James Bond to The Flame Trees of Thika.
